SPECTATORS

PLEASE do not drive along the course during the race. There is only one road, it is narrow, it will have runners on both sides, and trying to drive along it is not only painfully slow, it is highly disruptive to the runners. Officially the road has to stay open for access, but everyone tries to stay off it.  While central Lubec is the best - you can park at Lubec School and walk to everywhere from there, if you do want to be elsewhere the best thing to do is get to your spot well before the race, and stay there until the end of the race.

Join us at the Street Fair in Lubec

Join us on Water Street, the vibrant location of the finish line, from 9am to 2pm. Enjoy live music, shop the gift stores like Love at First Light Gift Shop right at the finish line, explore craft vendors, and savor delicious local food from Lubec restraunts and cafe's. Craving a Lobster? This festive event is open to everyone, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the runners and the 9th Bay of Fundy International Marathon. Bring your family and friends to experience the lively atmosphere and community spirit.

Spectating on Campobello?

The Porch on Friars Bay - Directions here - Is a fantastic viewing spot with ample parking for the marathon(please don't block the business parking area) with a lovely view. Runners pass by twice!

Nature and Trail Centre - Directions here - Is another great place to park with ample parking for spectator viewing of the Half and Full Marathon. Do not block the course, as the course runs through the parking lot. Note, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is closed to vehicle acess at this point.

Other Spots on the Main Rd (Rte 774)- Pull off at Curry Cove - Wilsons Beach - Again please stay put until the end of the race as its disruptive to runners.
